We take walk-ins when we have room. Whether that's possible depends entirely on how busy the day is, so the honest answer is that it varies: some afternoons there's a chair free within minutes, and some Saturdays there isn't one for hours.
The reliable move is a quick phone call before you drive over. We'll tell you exactly what's open right then, and if nothing is, we'll find you the next thing that works.
Want a guaranteed time, or a specific stylist? Book ahead. That's the only way to hold a slot, and it means your stylist has the full appointment to consult properly rather than fitting you between two other guests.

Women's cuts
Long layers, mid-length shapes, blunt ends, and face framing. Every cut includes a consultation and a blowdry finish, so you leave seeing exactly how it falls. From $55.
Short cuts

Curly cuts
Shaped curl by curl and usually cut dry, so the shape you see is the shape you keep. Anaya is DevaCurl certified. See the curly hair page. $95.
Men's cuts
Scissor work, clipper work, or both, finished dry. Gray blending available if you want the temples softened rather than covered. From $45, clipper cut $35.
Kids' cuts
Under 7 is $40, and Anaya handles most of them with the patience that implies. Over 7 we price as a regular cut.

Cut by someone who trained for it
A haircut either holds its shape as it grows or it collapses two weeks later. The difference is structure: exact sectioning, deliberate cutting lines, and weight removed where your hair actually needs it rather than where it's easy to reach.
Michele Anzivino learned that method at London's Sassoon Academy under Filippo Russo, then trained with Toni&Guy in New York. He has been cutting in Gainesville for over 30 years, and he developed his own technique here: the Hybrid Cut, which cuts dry first so the weight comes out of hair that's behaving the way it really does.
Isabella Anzivino and Anaya Lorenzini cut alongside him. Anaya is our DevaCurl-certified curly specialist and takes men's, kids', and clipper cuts. Prices vary between stylists, which is why the menu shows ranges instead of one flat number.

How much does a haircut cost in Gainesville?
At Ciao Bella, a men's haircut starts at $45, a women's haircut with blowdry starts at $55, a clipper cut is $35, a child's cut (under 7) is $40, and a bang trim is $15. A DevaCurl certified curly cut is $95. Ranges depend on which stylist you book. Longer or denser hair can run higher. Card payments add 3.5%. Your stylist confirms the exact price at your consultation, before any cutting starts.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, when we have room. Walk-ins depend on how busy we are that day, so the honest answer is that it varies. Call (352) 379-9200 before you come and we'll tell you what's open right then. Booking ahead is the only way to guarantee a specific time or a specific stylist.
Do you cut men's hair?
Yes. A men's haircut is $45 to $52 depending on the stylist, and a clipper cut without a shampoo is $35. Men's gray blending is also available at $35. Anaya Lorenzini cuts men's hair, kids' hair, and clipper cuts, and Michele takes men's appointments as well.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes. A child's cut for children under 7 is $40. Over 7, we price it as a regular haircut. Anaya Lorenzini does most of our kids' cuts.
Do you cut curly hair?
Yes, and it's a specialty here. Anaya Lorenzini is DevaCurl certified, so a curly cut is shaped curl by curl, usually cut dry, to control volume and keep your pattern defined. A DevaCurl certified curly cut is $95. See our curly hair page for how those appointments work.
How often should I get a haircut?
It depends on the shape. A pixie or a short crop stays sharp for four to six weeks. A bob or a mid-length cut holds six to eight. Long hair can stretch to ten or twelve weeks if you're keeping the length, though the ends will thank you for a trim sooner. A bang trim between visits is $15.

No, but it helps. Our three stylists are Michele Anzivino, Isabella Anzivino, and Anaya Lorenzini, and prices vary by stylist, which is why you see ranges rather than one number. If you have no preference, book the first available and tell us what you're after when you arrive.
What happens at a first haircut appointment?
New guests get a complimentary consultation before anything begins. We look at your hair's growth patterns and density, your face shape, and honestly how many minutes you'll spend styling it in the morning.
